Pinar Oruç

CREATe – University of Glasgow

Pinar Oruç joined University of Glasgow and CREATe as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in October 2020. Pinar has completed her PhD titled ‘The Role of Copyright in the Digitisation of Cultural Heritage’ at Queen Mary University of London in September 2019. Her PhD was funded by Herchel Smith Intellectual Property PhD Scholarship. Pinar also holds an LLM in International Commercial Law from Cardiff University and a BA in Law from Koc University. She is a member of Istanbul Bar Association and a Fellow of Higher Education Academy. Pinar has previously taught at Queen Mary University of London, University College London and University of Essex.
