João Carlos Magalhães

João Carlos Magalhães is an Assistant Professor in Media, Politics and Democracy at the University of Groningen. He was previously a researcher at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society. His work for reCreating Europe looked at how digital platforms govern and can be governed, with a focus on the relationship between democracy and datafication.
