Mireille van Eechoud is professor of Information Law at IViR, and director of the Amsterdam Graduate School of Law., University of Amsterdam. A key field of her expertise is international and European intellectual property law, especially copyright, related rights and database protection. Cross-border aspects of intellectual property law, including conflicts of laws, are central in her research. Another key research theme in Van Eechoud’s current work is the emergent regulatory framework for open data, open science and reuse of public sector data.
